This Privacy notice describes how Colonial Leaf LLC (CL) collect and process your personal information through our website (colonialleaf.com) and our iPhone and Android app, and camera equipment (together "CL Services").  By using CL Services, you give your consent to the practices described in this privacy policy.

2. Personal data we collect

·         Information provided by you: We receive and store any data you provide in relation to CL Services.  You can choose not to provide certain information, but it may limit your ability to participate in CL Services. 

Examples of how you provide information to us:

·         when you register to play

·         when you navigate the pages on the website or app

·         when you purchase a voucher

·         when you make a claim

·         when you edit your contact info

·         when you redeem your points

·         when you send us feedback via our website, app, email, phone, or otherwise

·         when you change your location with location enabled on the app

·         when you agree to the terms and conditions of our player agreement or other policies

·         when you refer a friend

·         when you are in the vicinity of a CL "Challenge Hole" where cameras are installed

These actions could supply us with information such as:

·         your email address

·         picture of yourself (selfie)

·          name

·         mailing address

·         phone number

·         your IP address

·         your location information

·         email or contact information of your friends you refer

·         content of reviews and emails to us

·         images and videos collected or stored in connection with CL Services

·         Automatic information: We automatically collect and store some information about your use of CL Services, including data about your interaction with content and services available through CL Services. We use "cookies" and other unique identifiers on our web site and obtain certain types of information when your web browser or devices accesses CL Services.  Examples of the information we collect and analyze include:

·         the internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet

·         login, email address, and password

·         the location of your device or computer

·         device metrics such as when a device is being used, application usage, connectivity data, event failures or errors

·         content interaction information, such as downloads, page navigation, requests

·         version and time zone settings

·         purchase history

·         device identifiers, cookies, and other technologies on devices and web pages for usage, browsing, and other technical information

3. How we use personal data

We use your personal information to provide, operate, improve, and develop our products and services we offer to our customers.  These purposes include:

·         Purchase and delivery of products and services. We use your personal information to take and handle orders, deliver products and services, process payments, and communicate with you about orders, products and services, and promotional offers.

·         Provide, troubleshoot, and improve CL Services. We use your personal information to provide functionality, analyze performance, fix errors, and improve the usability and effectiveness of CL Services.

·         Communicate with you. We use your personal information to communicate with you in relation to CL Services by way of various channels (by phone, email, etc.)

·         Fraud Prevention and Credit Risks. We use personal information to prevent and detect fraud and abuse.

4. Data retention

We retain most data indefinitely with the exception of camera data.  Video recordings from our cameras are deleted after some time period less than three years. We may extrapolate some recordings of golf shots or other incidents and use them for various purposes.  These extrapolated videos may remain indefinitely.  Your personal profile data can be changed or deleted by you at any time.  We do not retain credit card information.  Credit card information is passed directly to the gateway provider.

5. Your rights

If you have any questions about how we collect, use, or retain your personal information, contact us at support@colonialleaf.com, or through the Contact Us page on the app.  You have control over your contact information. In addition, to the extent required by applicable law, you may have the right to request access to or delete your personal data. If you wish do do any of these things contact support@colonialleaf.com. Depending on your data choices, certain services may be limited or unavailable.

CL Services is intended for people 18 years or older.  We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18 without the consent of the child's parent or guardian.

6. Cookies & similar technologies

The only cookie or cookie-like data used by CL Services is solely for the customer's ease of use.  We record actions and decisions you have made in order to provide you with a more pleasurable experience with our website or app.  We are not in the business of selling our customer's personal information to others.  We take your privacy seriously, and do not share your personal information with anyone unless you decide to do so yourself.

7. Data security

Our systems are designed with your security and privacy in mind.

·         Our website and app transmit data using encryption protocols and software.

·         We use a payment gateway provider who follows the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) when handling credit card data. We do not collect credit card data, and only transmit it using secure protocols.

·         It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password, PIN, computers, devices, and applications.  Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
